SUMMARY:2020 Harrington Festival
DESCRIPTION:The Annual Harrington Festival takes place during the month of January with the majority of events on the 1st of January. The family-friendly event is free and all activities take place on the Harrington foreshore (Beach Street\, Harrington) overlooking the stunning breakwall. \nKick off the New Year with:\nMarkets from 8am in the John Oxley Reserve\nFood Stalls\, Carnival Rides and Side Show from 3pm on the foreshore.\nLive Music from 5pm on the foreshore.\nJohn Gollan fireworks display at 9pm from the Harrington Breakwall. And yes the fireworks are on the night of the 1st! And has been known to be one of the best displays on the Mid North Coast. Grab a spot anywhere along the water’s edge and you will catch the fireworks. \nBring the family along and make a day of it. Please arrive with time to spare for the fireworks as they are very popular! \nHarrington is located 45 minutes South of Port Macquarie and 20 minutes North of Taree on the NSW Mid North Coast.

The Citizen of the year awards will be presented during the morning. \nThe awards are proudly presented jointly by the Harrington Crowdy Head Chamber of Commerce and the Harrington Lions Club. They acknowledge individuals who have made a noteworthy contribution to our community during the current year or given outstanding community service over a number of years.
