COMMUNITY PUBLICATION
A Resilient Community

This guide has been designed to help our community to be better prepared for the next emergency in our area.

The Harrington Crowdy Head Community Resilience Team was formed following community meetings that were held after severe bushfires and flooding impacted the district in 2019 and 2021 respectively.

It was recognised that the community needs to be better prepared and organised for future emergencies and to complement official emergency service organisations in the outstanding work that they do.
