Taree hospitals and community health service

Manning Base Hospital: Emergency department is open 24 hours at the corner of High Street and Commerce St, Taree. The main hospital entrance is at 26 York Street, Taree. Outpatient and administration services operate from 8am-5pm weekdays. Phone 6592 9111. 

Taree Community Health Service: 64 Pulteney Street, Taree (in the hospital precinct). Offers a range of services including: sexual assault counselling; mental health; maternal, child and family health; Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health; nursing service; needle and syringe program. Monday to Friday 9:00am-5:00pm. healthdirect helpline: This is a 24-hour government funded telephone health advice line that operates seven days a week. It is staffed by registered nurses who provide expert health advice. Defibrillator Locations: A defibrillator is a sophisticated life-saving device. Prompt use a defibrillator to treat sudden cardiac arrest can significantly increase the chances of survival. The defibrillators at the locations shown below have an automated voice operating instruction program that informs users what to do.
